Under 14s Fall to Kader

Scarborough Ladies Under-14s played host to title hopefuls Kader last Saturday at Sherburn. The home side created the best chances of the first half but couldn’t find a way past the visiting keeper, while Amber Colling also made some good saves to keep the score 0-0 at half-time. The second half continued in the same manner with little between the two sides. But two defensive lapses from the Scarborough girls – blotting an otherwise excellent performance – were punished dearly to put Kader 2-0 up. SLFC pressed forward and Anna Bowman hit the post, while the Teessiders’ goalkeeper made more good saves to keep an impressive clean sheet to secure the three points. Next up for Scarborough is an away trip to Poppleton Tigers on Saturday. Read more at: http://www.thescarboroughnews.co.uk/sport/football/scarborough-ladies-under-15s-maintain-superb-start-1-8767265
